Note: This beanie is a sample piece of our Mona knitted beanie. While the design matches the regular model, it is made entirely from merino wool. As a result, the colours differ slightly from the original and the fit is a little looser.

Mondrian says hello… Our graphic Mona knitted beanie is inspired by the patterns and colours of Dutch artist Piet Mondrian. The black-and-white checked design with a yellow ribbing is knitted using the Fair Isle technique, with unused yarn colours carried along the inside of the beanie as floats.

Our wool beanies fit snugly and are suitable for an average head circumference of approx. 54–56 cm.

Manufacturing & Care

Our knitting accessories are made-to-order products. After ordering, they are made in our studio on hand knitting machines using the jacquard technique. This means that unused colors of the pattern are on the inside of the hat as tension threads. Our headbands and wrist warmers are therefore provided with a light wool lining.

Care instructions:

In order to be able to enjoy your product and the bright colors for as long as possible, we recommend regularly airing our knitted accessories outdoors and removing small stains immediately.
If washing is necessary, we recommend washing the accessories by hand with a mild detergent for wool. Then carefully squeeze out, pull into shape and let dry lying down.
